We have a great opportunity to join our Talent Team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a fixed term contract. 

You will be a member of the Talent team within the People function, supporting and co-ordinating BAU, Technology and Transformation and Technician recruitment.  This role is key in enabling us to manage the attraction and sourcing of candidates in a proactive, organised and timely manner, supporting the candidate journey and the experience, in conjunction with our operational stakeholders and practically through our Applicant Tracking System.

Key responsibilities:

  • To post vacancies on our Career Website and associated Job Boards when roles/locations become live
  • To actively source candidates from a variety of Job Boards and tap into the passive market
  • To work with our operational stakeholders/partners to ensure candidate progress is monitored and tracked
  • Review and screen applications based on determined criteria for the role and manage the candidates accordingly
  • Update the Application Tracking System on an ongoing basis to ensure that candidates are managed and are moved through the recruitment stages appropriately and effectively
  • Help identify our social and comms channels to promote vacancies both internally and externally and recommend areas for improvement/investment 
  • Update the teams’ recruitment trackers promptly and accurately on an ongoing basis so we keep on top of our ops focused recruitment and are clear about our focus areas within the business
  • Support the team with recruitment reporting and insight.

So what skills do I need? 

  • Previous experience in supporting high volume recruitment across various business functions
  • Previous sourcing experience and the ability to use a variety of social media platform to promote vacancies
  • Strong candidate management skills to ensure we uphold our positive candidate experience
  • Reporting ability (Excel skills) or the desire to learn

  • Highly organised and methodical in approach
  • Proactive and continually looks ahead to pre-empt actions
  • Open, transparent and clear in communication with all stakeholders
  • Is able to build trusting, credible, collaborative and integral relationships with stakeholders
  • Looks for new and creative ways to continually enhance and evolve the way we recruit
  • Has an interest in all things ‘social’ and can support in how we develop our approach with this for the purposes of engaging candidate attraction
