As an Organisational Change Management Specialist supporting delivery of  multi-dimensional change, evolving with pace, you will work with leaders to ensure that our people are taken on our journey to enable early adoption of change which will ultimately improve their experience at work, and enhance the quality of service that they deliver to our customers.

Reporting to the Head of Leadership Partnering, with a dotted line into our Business Transformation Office, this role focuses on the people aspects of our transformation project within our business.

Through your engaging and inspiring approach you will implement change management starategies and plans to maximise transformation opportunities and the timely realisation of benefits.   

Working through others, with people at the heart of our change plans, the Organisational Change Specialist will provide direct support and coaching to all levels of leadership as they help their people transition through change. 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Provide Change Management expertise in a complex and evolving environment, ensuring the multiple layers of change are planned and executed brilliantly with minimal impact on our people.    

  • Accountability for change management impact analysis at a high and deeper level to provide the business with clear understanding of the impact on our people from a Process, Technology and Organisational Design Perspective. 

  • Identify, analyse and monitor risks associated with change activity and actively develop mitigation strategies, working as part of the Business Transformation Office and PMO.   

  • Evaluate multiple sources of qualitative and quantative data to support the business to make sound decisions about change programmes.  

  • Create People and Change Plans that support our identified Change Principles and Vision. 

  • Lead Organisational Design activity, supporting the business to identify required structures, roles, competencies and ways of working as a result of change – utilising proven OD Methodology.     

  • Support and engage our leadership teams, including the UK Exec and Senior Leadership Teams,  through inspiring engagement events and activity to ensure consistent level of knowledge and buy in. 

  • Develop and implement a plan for Change Leadership and Change Readiness Training for the business, ensuring that a rolling programme of training is developed for the business across a 2-3 year timeframe.   

  • Develop and drive a robust communication and stakeholder engagement plan that is based on the principles of Right message, Right Time, Right People and Right Channel.   

  • Co-ordinate efforts in a collaborative way across the business to ensure the transformation programme is on track from a timeline perspective and deliverable expectations are met.    

  • Evaluate and identify skills gap analysis and develop associated training plans. 

  • Support the wider People Business Partner team with the implementation people and change plans through their stakeholders.       

You will be comfortable working at pace, often in a rapidly changing environment where the context is shifting and sometimes ambiguous and managing multiple priorities at the same time.

Based in our Head Office in Cardington, Bedford, the Change Management Specialist will be able to travel nationally and work flexibly to deliver in a busy operations and people environment.
